Sam Michael

Hello! I’m Sam, a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Personal Trainer with a rich background in Nursing. My journey in healthcare began with a focus on geriatric and family care, where I developed a deep appreciation for preventative health and its vital role in mental and physical well-being.

Driven by a passion for creating positive health outcomes, I transitioned into the world of group fitness and yoga. With over a decade of experience in this field, I bring a unique perspective to my classes, emphasizing accessibility, enjoyment, and the cultivation of self-motivation, love, and acceptance. I believe in the transformative power of group fitness, uniting people from diverse backgrounds and inspiring collective growth and healing.

In my classes, I strive to create a fun and safe environment where everyone can explore, challenge, and appreciate their abilities. My approach to exercise is holistic and individualized, advocating for joyful movement that resonates differently with each person.

Beyond my professional life, I am a dedicated mother of three incredible and inspiring kiddos. My favorite non-yoga workouts are full body, functional workouts, and I never miss a chance to dance between sets!

Yoga, in particular, has been a transformative practice for me, granting mental and emotional freedom that has enriched my life in unexpected ways. My goal as a teacher is to share this experience, helping others discover how their practice can enhance their lives in profound ways.

A core philosophy I impart in my classes is the power of self-achievement: the uplifting sensations and positive feelings experienced are a testament to one's own effort and can be woven into the fabric of daily life. Join me in this journey of discovery, empowerment, and joy in movement!
